Digital records management supporting academic activities in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at PGRI Kanjuruhan University of Malang

Abstrak

Introduction. Archives play a strategic role in supporting smooth administration and academic decision-making. At the study program level, variations in management practices reflect the institution's readiness to meet demands for efficiency and accountability. Data Collection Methods. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation and interview methods on the head of the study program and PGSD UNIKAMA teaching staff. Data Analysis. The data were analyzed through stages of reduction, presentation, and qualitative conclusion drawing in accordance with Miles and Huberman's techniques in a systematic and continuous manner. Results and Discussion. PGSD UNIKAMA Study Program manages digital archives for recording, storing, and utilizing academic documents as a basis for evaluation, accreditation, decision making, and supporting administrative efficiency. Conclusion. There is a need to strengthen archive management through the development of internal SOPs, human resource training, and the development of an integrated information system so that archives can be optimized as the foundation for accountability and sustainable academic quality.
