Abstrak

The library as an institution that has a function to support research within the academy needs to be more creative to create opportunities in service and collection development policies. The purpose of this writing is to describe various aspects of the possibility of developing bibliometrics services in university libraries to streamline the development of collections. The results of data collectors using literature study, found various aspects of benefits for acquisition and selecting collections by developing bibliometrics based on citation analysis.
